Good to see Poche and some of the Freshman go out giving it all they had.
Disappointed in experienced field players that disappeared during large portions of the CWS that ended up being the difference.

If you're gonna call them out. Call them out and don't be a pussy.
That being said, frick off.

You saw the game...you know the stats.
Tell me what I posted that wasn't true?

Kramer being so bad made people not notice Freeman was even worse. The bottom of the order and younger guys carried LSU.

They each had a hit in the game and were in position to score. Neither last night or tonight was solely on them and neither should be called out for it. Stats don't mean shite up until then. It's like saying you'd feel better if we beat OSU by 20 each game just so you can say the seniors "showed up". What a bitch.

Anyone who hit .100 less in the CWS than they did in entire season prior was AWOL. I don't care what their name is.
And lack of offense is what lost it for us.
Who's got a good summary of CWS-only stats?

Bump for someone having hookup on CWS only stats.

I have to agree that the lack of production 1-4 in the lineup was a big issue in run production.

Paul should have started Nicky Dawson.

Freeman hit .115 less in CWS than season.
Deichmann hit. .108 less in CWS than in season.
Robertson hit .107 less in CWS than season.

Freeman was terrible in the bracket games - like 2-18 I believe, but he was 3/7 with a walk in the two games against UF. He was our only starter to bat over .286 in the CWS Finals.

Not when it mattered most against UF. Watson, Smith, Jordan, Pap, and Slaughter were 6/34 (.176) with 2 walks and 9 Ks. Kramer, Freeman, Duplantis, and Deichman were 9/31 (.290) with 2 walks and 7 Ks.
The issue with the top of the line up was they could never string anything together. They only had 1 of the 4 RBIs against UF.
