Maybe, but against there smallish 335 defense I expect to see a lot of Michael ford and Spencer ware

If we win by double digits, I would be more that happy with those stats

If you think Les Miles is going to
Let Lee throw for 300 yards on the road, you don't watch much LSU football... The name of the game is pound it and make them try to stop it.

If Lee has 300 yards in any game that means we are losing and trying to catch up in a hurry. 200 yards passing and rushing is fine by me.

The one drive where Miles took the leash off JL against Miss St was a thing of beauty.

I'd love to see what he can do a little more often- but Coach has a plan and In Les I Do Trust. We have some horses in the backfield, and they're going to get some heavy use in Morgantown.

But....

I'm looking for a strong game from Jarrett as well.

hes had a coming out party every week.
Led his team to wins, made plays and didnt do anything to hurt them.
He has imporved each week and I expect to continue the trend he is on.

How does WV's secondary compare to Moo St.'s? I think Moo had a decent secondary that did not give Lee much trouble.

However, I think WV's D-line is going to overpowered leading to two separate 100 yard rushers for us.

we ought to see our backs have a big outing because

1. wva's defense can't handle our big backs.

2. russell shepherd. he puts more pressure on the defense just being on the field and prevents the box being as crowded as it might be. Plus, if we involve him in the game plan (give him some touches) - WOW!

miles will pass some, but he probably won't have to. Now, will he pull a les on us and pass just for that reason?

Prolly not - we'll have 300 yards rushing, no doubt.

LSU will never throw it all over the field under Les unless we are behind and HAVE to throw

That's b/c Les isn't that comfortable with Lee throwing the ball on a consistent basis. He doesn't even give Lee the authority to do much audibling at the LOS.

Next year with Mett, I think he was be more comfortable with throwing. Mett looks to be a natural and very comfortable back there. He just needs time to learn the system. We'll consistently have 225 yard passing games with him next year.

Lee is also frequently checking out of plays and switching to others on his own without checking with the sideline before the snap.

"He's making the right reads," Studrawa said. "He did that a lot in this game. He's making great throws. Steve has made a big difference on that kid. But the other thing is he's taking advantage of an opportunity. He's saying, 'Hey, I'm a senior. I've got another chance now with what's happened.'"

I think Lee will continue to improve for a while. We've all got to keep in mind that he was not taking the majority of the reps until really late, and because JJ's got better wheels, the offense that we've fielded is NOT the same offense that was practiced. Because of the situation, if Miles can win by having RB's pound gaping hole's, thats what he'll do.

Where does this come from,

He looks to check out of 8-10 plays a game. More so last week.
