He reminds me a lot of Oregon's last point guard, Tajuan Porter. Very undersized but limitless range. One great thing Oregon did with him was the pick-and-pop at the top of the key, letting either him or a big with range get an open look. Stringer's not quite that quick but he has good handles and looks to be a good offensive weapon. I think he will get increasingly more time off the ball with Chris in the game to capitalize on his scoring ability.

Shot was so sick in person. My friends and I saw him RISE AND FIRE all Gus Johnson style from way back and started looking at each other like "Did he really just shoot from that far out?!" Then he makes it and the student section goes nuts. Good times.

he reminded me of Chris Jackson with the long range bombs last night. very impressed. needs to be playing point instead of at 2 guard. much more productive at point. he is going to be fun to watch.

He can definitely shoot but I'm a little concerned about his quickness in the SEC. Turner and Stringer both have beautiful looking shots, not just because they go in most of the time but they look good with their form when shooting.

I actually think removing him from the point at times and running stuff for him off screens might be good. Trent actually did that a couple of times last night.

My reasoning is that he tends to dribble too much when he's at point and the offense can go a bit stagnant while he does that.

He does have some skills but I saw a bit of Tack too in the latter part of the second half. over-dribbling, overpenetrating, bad decisions with pass and shot and 6 turnovers in 25 minutes.

I think we are going to have to live with that though. I think you're gonna have to take the good with the bad because of what he can bring with his potential to score.
