Don't be dumb.

Every fanbase has bad fans. The tiger rant is a prime example.

The player is a pussy for not signing his name to the letter but I am sure you could find the same fans anywhere. I mean...worse shite is said on the score board when we are winning by 3 TD's.

TO MAKE MON-AAAY

If you aren't productive and somehow I think you are talking about yourself, they they damn well should cut you loose.

Hmmm ok maybe some should reread again he said gladiators all of them weren't slaves for one....next its obvious some of u never went through any serious training let alone sports.... He is spot on, not only two a days but film study and meetings while the rest of you wahoos are sleep or jacking off. Next let's not talk about the millions and I mean millions that's generated from football, while some un-athletic smuck is talking about tutors and free education...gfy

Didn't read it, but if the players don't want the down side that comes with playing big time college football, I'm sure they could get a a scholarship at a lower tier school and get a great education.

Exactly. Or go work at McDonalds.

That player sounds like a huge pussy...meanwhile other students have to pay for meals, tuition, books, housing etc.

Meanwhile other students don't make millions for their school. Meanwhile the majority of students get their parents to pay most if not all of their expenses. Unless you paid and worked for everything yourself, you can't say shite.

Definitely lowered himself to the level he's bashing. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Oregons fanbase is no different than any other successful program, including ours.

Yes but his is right on the money. Look how Clowney was put on a pedestal on here and looked how quickly he was tore down. Look what happens in social media when a player is a major reason for a loss. We as a people are horrible and have been like that forever. It is human nature and it is never going away. Will sit a guy on top of a mountain, but when he falters once, we are like savage dogs.

I wouldn't use slave but gladiators were essentially slaves. His analogy is spot on. Their work is football, their pay is food, a place to stay, and a higher education. It's the equivalent of a regular person getting that first job out of college that prepares him for the bigger step up in his mainstay career job.

This is the thing...they don't have to play sports. How many would go to college w/o a scholarship? How many would get a degree w/o special tutoring that isn't as accessible to other students? I guess they don't truly know how good they have it...so they cry about how tough life is having everything laid out for them.

He has skills for a job which is CFB player. He does good, he gets a top career plan, does bad and better hope he has planned ahead with stocks/savings etc = education. The average person wants a decent enough lifestyle which requires decent enough pay. A college education does not equal success, it is the proverbial next step, but most millionaires either skip it or never finish it. Talent whether it be physical or mental, is the only thing necessary.
