Students were the only ones there for pregame.

Students weren't any different than the rest of the stadium

When I attended LSU, all I needed was my student ID to attend. 18 years old and you could buy alcohol. Even thought the teams were mediocre, I stayed for the whole game. Even games where Tulane handled our Tigers.

Come on folks, stay the entire game.

Do you remember the Houston game in the late 90s?

He's doing that because you responded to him instead of me.

I remember running around the stadium when LSU played houston as a kid because there were so many empty seats and LSU was LOSING. I want to say LSU came back and won?? This isn't something new. I remember the entire stadium being empty for Fresno State in 2005

My biggest issue is that they need to make it easier for students to get into the stadium. It has been a miserable experience every game for years

I'd like to see one full day that someone doesn't complain about fans leaving early thread or an Alabama thread, but then i guess it just wouldn't be the rant.

I can remember the early 2000's when entering campus up Nicholson they would have a crew standing in the middle of the road offering you a funnel of beer upon your arrival....

who cares we are suppose to be the best stadium and greatest fans. Why are you comparing us to the trashiest fan base in sports.

Look at mile high stadium. It's half empty right before half time.

it was borderline dangerous just getting around town that night

and it was 2006 not 2005.

I'm pointing out fans leaving is a systemic problem in football in general.

i think you're both right.

It systemic in football in general but there are also factors at LSU that have exacerbated the problem.

Your point is taken. I think LSU could use Gerry's world for an example of how to do replays. I really get pissed they won't show us replays of challenged calls.
