That is the #1 quality needed to play QB. Arm strength is way overrated.

I am excited to see what he can do once the rust fully comes off.

Ding ding ding. I posted as much in another thread and got bashed. My point was the fact that Miles can't tell who processes the field is what aggravates me. He doesn't know what a good QB is.

A TD pass called back plus at least one dropped pass by Guice.

Etling's numbers should've been better.

Lord Etling rocks.

Stay out of the way CLM.

but they weren't. Two turnovers 6 for 14, against JSU.

Other players factor into those stats. Nothing happens in a vacuum.

....but he's STILL better than Brandon Harris and it's not debatable. I'll take a Matt Mauck/Matt Flynn quarterback ANY day over what we've had the past few seasons with the exception of Mettenberger. They can process things a LOT better and that's not debatable either.

And we won big. Offense moved the ball unlike last week. Hate on the numbers all you want but he was much more composed than Harris.

Its the type of pass plays called. 6-8 in the 2nd quarter when he threw to TE, RB and underneath routes.

How many of the 2nd half passes were bombs?

"We won big"

21 pts, at home, with a punt return for TD. Against JSU, where they out gsined us or damn near it.

It's gonna be huge, just trust me!

Those 8 incompletion aren't all on Etling. Too many dropped passes. And before anyone chimes in that the coaches need to "coach up the players" on how to catch the football, these kids got their scholarships by knowing how to run routes and catch the ball.

And the almighty Sabans won by 28. I'll take a 21 point win after that abortion of a first game. We saw something positive last game. Enjoy it man.

I wonder why they outgained us? Maybe the 1st qtr where Harris led offense has 12 total yards and no first downs. You are sad!
