Does the writer take into account the starters that will be arrested in July/August 2016?

He is right though. Anything positive about LSU and the pos posters rush in to try and stop the positive talk. Its almost like they are saying "not on my watch".

It's pathetic. You think most of us positive guys don't realize the issues we face? We also realize les has won big multiple times, has his best team since 11' and 12', has the right games at home, and not just us pumpers, but analysts and Vegas both support a potentially big year for the Tigers in BR. Screw that though right? Miles is our coach and he is incapable of winning big..we are doomed....and on and on.

You're damned right! With CLM at the helm, there's not way this team won't dominate. 15-0 season coming. You just know it!!!!!!!!

As usual though... After what I saw in November..I am cautios about picking them to win it all.. A lot of factors go into getting there and then winning there.[The Playoffs}.

Well yeah...winning it all is pretty damn tough even with the best talent

You need the ball to bounce your way, and short of going undefeated you need to lose to the right team and might need some help getting in

But to suggest that there will be 0 improvement from 2015 to 2016 is what is asinine.

No matter which direction this thread takes you are right.

It's spilling over to the RB.

It just doesn't make sense to spend everyday posting doom and gloom about everything LSU.
And if I could get a dollar for every down vote I get I wouldn't need the powerball......

Stating that ESPN said the same thing last year isn't shitting on the program... That's a fact.

Stating your opinion about the team is not shitting on the program... Now, if anyone was saying how much the team sucks and we'll go no where and we have the worst staff/players in the nation, that is shitting on the program.

You Nancy's need to relax.

That description is almost word-for-word what ESPN said about LSU before this season.

I've seen nothing to suggest Cam Cameron will 'tweak' the offense, and very little to suggest Brandon Harris will be magically 'comfortable' in that (theoretically) tweaked offense.

Cameron needs to implement a far more efficient passing attack for LSU to succeed. The constant attempts to throw the ball deep are ineffective against elite defenses like Alabama.

they forgot to add:

" the only caveat is that LSU has Les miles on the sidelines. If LSU could hire a gameday manager to stand by Miles and help him understand the game, they might have a shot. Remind you, Nick "God Satan" Saban stands poised on the sideline with adjustments. Until Saban decides to hang up his headset, not much will change in the SEC West, for any team."

It's not unrealistic to expect this to be a good season next year. Harris will have another year of development, the OL should be just as good as last season if not better since we had freshmen starters. Fournette and Guice are the best 1-2 punch in the country. Dural and JD Moore back from injury (that's when the O started to sputter). Dupre, Tyron Johnson and Chark are all back and more experienced.

Who really was excited about what Steele could do? His track record wasn't that great. Aranda is going to bring us back to a 2011 quality D. That's not sunshine. He has the results with 3 star kids that we have been hoping for with our 4 and 5 star studs.

I have been extremely critical of Miles and co., but unless you are someone that always takes the negative side, there is a legitimate reason to be very excited about 2016.

Based on what y'all have returning, I'd say y'all have as good a shot as anyone in the West next year...and I think Aranda was an inspired hire at DC. I think pre-season favorites will be LSU and Ole Miss. Ole Miss loses a lot, but should still have a pretty potent passing game...and they have a good DC so their D should still be good and maybe even better without the off-field distractions of the Nkemdiche brothers. Give y'all the edge as y'all have both Bama and Ole Miss at home...and y'all still have LF7...

Bama could be in the hunt as well, depending on how our new starters, particularly our QB, RB, and front seven, turn out. Worked out well for us the past 2 years, but can't just take it for granted that it always will...it'll be the first time in the Saban era that we will have a very inexperienced RB corps...should be an interesting year...

This... y'all are some miserable fricking fans. Why even be a fan if that's the feelings towards the football program?

You are right tiggertooth, Harris is the key to our success next year. As important as that is, a solid back-up qb would be great too, in case Harris were to go down. When you look at NC teams, the common denominator is the QB, being able to make plays, when plays need to be made.
