Not a bad list. I can't argue with much. They broke it out by conference. They placed LSU as 6 in the national coaching job rankings.

quote:

1. UF
2. Bama
3. LSU
4. UGA
5. A&M
6. Auburn
7. Tennessee
8. Arkansas
9. South Carolina
10. Ole Miss
11. Missouri
12. Miss. State
13. Kentucky
14. Vanderbilt

7. Tennessee
8. Ole Miss
9. Arkansas

Can't argue with the list , but I can't help but think Nick makes the Bama job look a lot better than it is.

Someone would have to be insane to take the Bama job after Nicky.
Bama has to be the worst job in the SEC.

Sure would hate to have to coach all that crappy talent that he's been stockpiling

Just look back to the Miami Microwave Dynasty. Didn't matter who they threw in there, they won championships.

Not everyone can capitalize on elite level talent (Muschamp, Kiffin, etc...)

No one Bama can hire will match his success and they will spend 2-3 years at bama going 9-3 8-4 and get fired.

The pressure at Bama would be very hard to live with. No one can live up to nicks legend.

Nick can't even handle it now

All he does is complain about how "winning isn't the same"

Just wait for the Shitshow to happen in Tuscaloosa when Saban hangs it up. The Bama people better enjoy it while they got it. It will be a repeat of the 20 year debacle after Bear shut it down, this is going to be good.

Muschamp-

First season was rough, Second season lost in the sugar bowl, third season crappy, 4th season fired. He still led a team to an 11-2 record and beat 4 teams in the top 10 in his second season.

Kiffin:

Even after all of the probation disaster that USC had, he led the trojans to an AP #6 ranking at the end of the season, and then the next season started at #1 overall. Unfortunately for him, that was the year that Stanford was incredible and Oregon was beginning to spread his wings. He is fired soon after.

Whats your point? Kiffin did pretty well (for being such a shithead) for USC, and Muschamp wasn't the worst thing to happen to Florida. He could've turned it around if given a couple of years.

Muschamp and Kiffin missed bowls and had loosing seasons at two of the BIGGEST names in football (USC and UF). My point is, they inherited all the talent in the world, recruited all the talent in the world, and didn't win jack shite.

CUM won at UF, then won at OSU. Saban won at LSU and Bama... Some coaches can win with talent, others can't.

I'd argue that aTm is the best coaching job in the SEC. Win 10 games, make 5mill a year. What coach wouldn't want to make NC $$$ in their 3rd year for finishing 3-4 in the division?

LSU should be #2 and ahead of Bama....just for the fact that LSU has no competition in a talent enriched state for recruiting.....Bama is in direct competition with Auburn in a state that doesn't have the talent as often as LA.......

I'd flip Mizzou & USCe

The A&M job will rise if UT's situation doesn't improve.

With this kind of mindset A&M & UGA should be #1 & #2

Strongly disagree with this part of your statement. USC was on probation & Urban Meyer left UF with less than when he showed up there.
