That talent is seen by anyone with eyes who can open them

I'm about as big of a Lebron fan as you'll find on the MSB, but this is a bit much.

I wish they would just call out Johnny Jones for being a horrible coach. The truth is with Alleva Johnny won't be fired this year unless we lose 5 /7 and don't make the tourney.

Reading that small portion of article hurt my brain. The writing is horrible. The grammar is horrible and ESPN is horrible.

Idk I've watched a few LSU games this season because they are all on espn because of Simmons and honestly I just don't see what makes him so great. Not trying to bash kid but I dont see the hype in the games I've watched.

They forgot to include his free throw stats from last night.

This article is a joke. Its like the author hasn't bothered to watch more than 5 SEC games this year.

This is the strongest the SEC has been in basketball in quite some time, when you talk about getting 5, possibly 6 tournament teams in.

Did you watch LeBron play at 19 years old?

Hopefully it means JJ is gone. What a waste.

When Victor is your best free throw shooter of the night you have a problem. We hit the free throws at a respectable rate we win the game.

I'm hopeful for this team as I've been going to these games my whole life, good and bad years, but like I've been saying all season... We've got a long way to go. It says a lot that we're in 1st and yet we're still "on the bubble". I said all year that it would take 13-14 wins in the league to dance, but our pre conference play has hurt us badly. So we're 8-3 with aTm and Florida at home, and Kentucky away. If we lose any of the 3 of those we'll be a 14 win SEC team at best. As bad as Arky is, that won't be easy on the road, nor will Tenn. If we get in, you can thank the super star attention 25 is getting us. Let's finish strong Tigers! Here's to hitting your free throws!

Bubble team? LSU will absolutely make it. They are tired for first. ESPN wants Ben in. An 8th-11rh seed. Bookmark it.

and now a three-way tie atop the SEC (Kentucky, LSU, South Carolina).

Tied for first in the SEC.......The Horror!!!!

WTF is up with the guys questioning Simmons even going to LSU? I have never seen that with a player at another school. What other schools have had players that can stack up to Shaq, Pistol, and Petit?

Well we have this. The networks want to put Simmons on. The committee will give LSU every benefit of the doubt to vote them in somewhere in the NCAAT. That's not so much what I'm worried about

Well, to be fair, when was the last time the consensus #1 BB recruit went to a school of LSU's caliber?

It just doesn't happen.

I think they will but it is most certainly not a lock.

We still have some extremely tough games coming up as the first part of the SEC schedule was pretty light for us.

Alleva didn't even want Johnny here (allegedly). He wanted Tubby Smith. Gave in to the pressure of some former players and guys close to program.

Well until a few years ago the top guys were going NBA also. I'm just saying this season is being written off, and this team can still get a lot better between now and tourney time. Highly ranked teams will not want to see us in their bracket this year. Should let it all play out before anyone deems it a failure.

Kind of feel like telling ESPN to eff off.

So I will.

Eff off, ESPN.

As an LSU fan, I appreciate my team year in and out. I follow it closely, enjoy its wins and am sad when they lose.

No player is a "waste," no season is a "waste." The season is ongoing. The team appears to be improving. They have several key players are very young. I think the coach has done a good job of coaching them this year. I look forward to each game, the rest of the season, and am cautiously optimistic this team will rate an NCAA tourney invite and make a run in the tourney. At present, my team is tied for first place in its conference, which really is about as well as you can hope for (other than being in sole possession of first place.)

Thanks for your interest.

Jesus.
