Is LSU in crisis mode, or are the Tigers just slowly rebuilding? Perhaps it's a combination of the two, but the tension unmistakably is rising in Baton Rouge. Improving the offense is vital to redeem confidence after an indifferent 2009.

It seems as though LSU's amount of talent is always overlooked. This has LSU behind Arkansas and USC. I dont see what everyone sees in Arky besides Mallet because they have non-existent defense. Also, USC? I feel like theyre on the way down. There are a few questionable ones that i just dont get, but ESPN does have their favorites.

I like this way. When you start lower, it gives you more anger to thrive on. I think its easier to move up then stay on top.

I also like the reference to an indifferent 2009. LSU was a solid third behind Bama and Florida, the last two champs, and that was indifferent.
