I ordered it on DirecTV and they told me it's on 787, even though I saw on the guide that it's on 789. It was $34.99.

Why is this so confusing? It is the exact same situation every single time a game is on Tigervision, at least for the last few years.
If in Louisiana, you must order it through Tigervision. It does not matter if you get ESPN Gameplan. It costs about $35.
If outside Louisiana, and you have Gameplan, you are good to go.
If outside LA, and you don't have Gameplan, you can order it for one day at around $22, or you can order the remainder of the season.

You can buy it for the weekend for 21.99 and you all games for the weekend
