LSU might have its streak of four consecutive seasons with an NFL first-round draft pick snapped in 2015. But if ESPN analyst Todd McShay is right, the quantity of drafted players will be there.

McShay thinks four Tigers will go in the first two days and was complimentary of each of them during a one-hour teleconference Tuesday.

LSU senior offensive tackle La'el Collins is the 27th best player on his board but McShay thinks he may drop into the second round. He said cornerback Jalen Collins, linebacker Kwon Alexander and defensive end Danielle Hunter also looked like second-day players.

McShay went out of his way to say Hunter should stay in school with an unsolicited opinion. "He's a player with a lot of talent but I also think he's not ready," he said. "He's freakish; great in the weight room and I see flashes of it. But I never thought this year he developed. Even though he's productive I think he can get better and put himself in a position for when he does enter the league.

Didn't all the juniors get "stay in school" grades?

I think he'll excel in the combine. But I also wouldn't have a problem with him coming back. We need the depth.

Doesn't matter. Collins and Kwon both got return to school and both came out. Kids will do what they think is best.

His situation is different than Jalen Collins and Kwon ALexander, IMO. Hunter could go from a middle round pick all the way to the first round with a good year next year. Collins and Alexander would not have improved their draft status as much as that if they had returned. They had kinda peaked and Hunter is not close to his peak IMO.

They don't care what no scout say! They got NFL talent bruh...they can't wait to visit LSU over the summer with the bling and shiny rims and supped up whips...

McShay is a talentless hack.

He doesn't seem to be considering the new rookie wage scale either. He's weighing expected draft position too much into his analysis, IMO.

A general truth. I didn't even read his analysis of the Hunter situation.

McShay is right on this Hunter is not ready. I really wonder if he will get much better. I get the feeling he is what he is, a remarkable physical specimen and a solid but not special football player.

I'm no McShay, but Hunter and Kwon would both benefit from the extra year.

Collins may see reduced playing time if he stays, if everyone else can stay out of trouble. He is probably doing the right thing.
