Saw this and though this was pretty cool. We need to give Key a little more love on here. O and Moffitt about to turn this kid into a freakshow. Calling it now - 13 sacks in '16.

Insider Link

ETA: Sorry pressed enter too quickly.

quote:

Even veterans such as Tigers line coach Ed Orgeron, who have seen myriad prolific pass-rushers, have said that Key has something special. The first step and burst were becoming more and more evident as his freshman season went along, but opposing coaches are bracing for his future -- when the 6-6, 232-pound Key puts on a bit more weight and bulk.

Scouts say that Key, at his current build, often gets bumped off track if he meets physical contact; with a little more girth, he’ll be even more effective in disrupting and affecting plays. It’s a scary thought.

#1 breakout candidate in the nation. If he bulks up, will be unstoppable.

Keys probably the most talked about So. to be, hiring Aranda will make him even more lethal. Very possible future top 5-10 pick

Key, Toliver, Donte, Guice, Maea, Toby and Tyron may end up being one of the better hauls in 1 class to come through LSU. All of those guys have 1st round potential.

Key had more sacks in SEC games his freshman year. Garrett is a pass rush specialist. Key has shown he can be a complete DE.

He was just about unstoppable last year. There's some chatter of Aranda using him as his standup rush OLB. That dude is going to be deadly.

Key was special this year as a freshman. If he continues to improve at the rate he already has then he's going to be a monster.

Next Keke, if not better if he keeps it up. He's exciting to watch

he really gets knocked off course when opposing Tackles have a handfull of his facemask.

Which happens about 8 times a game

I'm predicting 70 plus times he's held next season without any call;that's based on this season.

Key has a very high celling. Additional weight will suit him well. my hope is he has a better eye for not lining up in the neutral zone..smile

Key may be a better pure football player than Keke. Maybe. Or it may be that his motor seems to be a notch better than Keke. Both great players
