So I noticed a lot of references to Les Miles from some ESPN analysts.

Things like "they had the want." Pretty sure i heard them make a comment about his time management from the Ole Piss game too.

LSU wasn't even involved in what they were talking about haha.

Thoughts? Anyone else hear this?

I just have to wonder how brilliant you would be if you had a mic shoved in your face.

I'm not making fun of him. None of this was offensive to Miles.

Just wondering if anyone else heard it and if they think it's all that necessary for ESPN analysts to make comments like that when LSU isn't involved.

And no it wasn't a rerun. It was Sports Center yesterday.

How is that "ripping". He is kinda Yogi Berra-ish, no?

They were having fun with some of his utterances. So what? They weren't "ripping". Sheeeesh. Toughen up, a little.

they werent "ripping" on him, more like having some good natured fun at his antics. Everybody knows how he speaks and his mannerisms and its more of a friendly embrace of his goofyness than anything. chill out.

No it was ripping. While showing the highlights from another game "Les Miles says spike the ball....spike the ball"

Quit nitpicking my words. You obviously don't get the point. "Ripping," to me, is just an expression.

You "rip" on your friend for bringing home a fat chick, get it?

What do you think it was constructive criticism? They are still laughing from last week and it obvious. And thanks for the compliment but I am all grown up!

Ya, I heard this one too. I thought it was funny, just surprised to hear so many references to a game a week ago. The game they made that comment about had nothing to do with LSU or Les Miles.

Coach Miles is colorful and the media loves talking about him. Coach Miles just needs to keep it positive.

Just like you rip on your friend for bringing home a fat chick, you will continue to do it for weeks after for no reason.

True. Is there really any bad publicity? (don't answer that)
