From ESPN's Chris Low:

quote:

Overrated until proven otherwise: LSU and Ole Miss are both overrated. There’s no other way to say it. The difference between the two teams is that LSU is overrated and still unbeaten. Ole Miss is overrated and coming off a loss in its SEC opener. LSU coach Les Miles called the Tigers “vulnerable” following their 30-26 escape at Mississippi State, and he’s right. I’d go as far as to say they’re very beatable unless they find their running game and start playing with more consistency in all areas.

People need to realize that Miss State is very, very underrated and that winning on the road in the SEC is ALWAYS tough.

Give me a team that would not be overrated in that spot at this point? How comfortable is anyone with Auburn, Houston, USC, Boise State, or Oklahoma in that spot?

They'd all beat LSU right now. Maybe not USC.

Did Low intend for this to be earth shattering or controversial?

Low = Captain obvious.

Nope.

Winning on the road against shite opponents has typically been easy. See Miss State games for the last decade.

Miss. state is not underated. They are not that good. Just b/c they hung with LSU does not make them good. Also Florida did not make playing on the road in the sec against Kentucky look tough. They were up 31-0 after one quarter. We just have to face the facts. We are a average team in the sec this year.
