He's not a bad person. Just misguided and easily influenced.
Very few people in the world have the character to stick by their ideals, especially when it's inconvenient for them to do so.

Whatever team signs him better have a clause in the contract that states if he kneels, he doesn’t get a fricking dime. You know the minute he signs and starts getting paid, he’s going to take a knee. Again.
