Did anyone else notice or hear what one of the game announcers said about Ensminger last night?

When asked what was his biggest challenge since becoming (OC) he stated "it is difficult to excute plays with someone else system", he also said i am trying to call playes that fit these players and their talent.

I thought that was very refreshing to hear, an OC that is just not forcing his system or plays on the players, but tryint to adjust to their talent

Under Miles this was never going to happen.

Who ever questions the decision to part ways with Miles needs to read that quote.

Trying to maximize the players strengths is how it is done.

I really hope that this staff doesn't get dismantled.

Here's a quote from CEO about Ensminger that's pretty telling:

"Pete Jenkins was chewing Steve Ensminger's butt off for scoring too fast. I said, hold up, Pete don't worry about it."

What a great problem to have.

I think it's more of a case of him having zero time to install any other system. Interesting though that the problem wasn't the antiquated "system", the plays were there all along. Les just didn't have the confidence to let it happen.

Supposedly Chavis was pissed at Cam for the same thing vs. Georgia a few years ago.

While agree a lot of the plays or the same, but the different is they or running them out of different sets and formations.

4 wides, 2 wides and 2 tight ends, 3 wides etc
just not lining up in the I formation and running striagt ahead

Ensminger has the potential to be a great OC. He's one of the smartest guys I've ever known.
