A caller on 104.5 just said he was in the stadium Saturday night and u could tell ensminger still had his finger on this offense and T Bob said he actually heard the same thing around the program, is that’s true then why are they paying Canada 1.5million??? This staff and higher ups never amaze me!

It would surprise me. We moved the ball with no issues against shite teams last year with him calling the plays. Not so much anymore.

I have no way to tell if he was calling plays, but there is no doubt the offense in the first quarter was exactly the same as the offense during the interim period last season.

I was in the stadium and Ensminger had a play chart and headset and was doing a lot of gesturing along with an intern or GA. It looked like he was calling plays.

It appears to be the same offense as last year to me with a some motion.
O's philosophy on offense appears to be to throw the deep ball. Majority of our passes are deep. Canada's offense appeared to be more short/ball control to me.
Considering the offensive line issues, doesn't make sense to go deep. Can't protect. Short ball control game would make the best sense.

If this is true it only verifies EVERYTHING those of us who have hated the hire have been saying the get-go.
Canada is probably not a "Yes Man" when it comes to the things O wants him to do. So he's having Ensminger call the plays the O wants to see.

Maybe Ensminger calling plays is a good thing. Probably more of him communicating then calling imo. But maybe he should start

Getting behind 24-7 midway through the 4th...vs TROY...that's not on Ensminger.
