One would need a mobile quarterback to run such system. I don't think we have that right now

You can't just call plays faster and see the benefits.

Im not so sure about that. No one is saying we can run Duck O.
But to pick up the tempo when u are in a rhythm with better athletes is worth looking into

If the defense stuffs you 3 times in a row because you're running the most predictable plays imaginable the only thing you've accomplished is putting the defense back on the field in 30 seconds instead of 2 minutes and given the other team more chances to score.

Calling bad plays faster doesn't make them good plays.

I wish the QB would just throw it backwards over his head...it would be an improvement over our current offense.

Even though we have largely abandoned the Meerkat routine, there is still no way that Miles and Fatass can decide whether to run the toss dive or the toss dive fast enough to run a hurry-up.

Oregon wore out Kansas State with hurry up. We traditionally wear out people with power. What if we started doing both next year: hurry up power football as opposed to hurry up spread. If defenses get gassed by tempo and worn done by power, it seems to me to stand to reason that the combination could be lethal. And...discuss

AU won a NC w/Cam running tempo power zone option runs behind a mammoth senior laden offensive line. It's not unheard of.

You can run tempo to chuck it. You can run tempo to run it. You can run tempo to do both.

But you need competency and clarity and quality fundamental coaching on the practice field no matter what you do.

We can do whatever we want. But our head coach has to admit that he's part of the problem first.

Well I was assuming it wasnt a 3 and out every time. if thats the case we should just punt on first. Also if u could read u would have read "when we are in rhythm".
