Scan tickets in. Scan tickets out.

You arrive early + stay late = TAF points for bowl games, bball tickets, ncaa tourney, gymnastics, baseball tickets, & regionals/supers/cws, etc.

You arrive late +/or leave early = no TAF points.

The added concessions sales will handle the cost of paying ushers to stay later.

The market will adjust. It always does.

That wouldn't make people attend....it would just make people more hesitant to buy tickets in advance.

Students would probably quit going all together, or the large majority.

It's a decent idea but there's like 15 other things they need to do it they want to get serious about it

Start the dam game at 5:00 PM, game over by 8:30, have time to get home or to the bar before you pass out. There would still be some of the game under the lights. Truth is, every student is drunk by 7:00 PM and no one today wants to sit in a stadium until 11:00 PM, not get out of the parking lot until midnight. That just sucks... not even old people like it.

The LSU night game tradition has collided with millennial expectations of comfort and convenience and lost. Time to change the "tradition."

I've been saying this for awhile now...eliminate the night game, unless maybe for a Bama. For sure the cupcakes. It makes the days shorter for everyone. Yes it's hot in September. Most of our 2:30 kickoffs have crowds that stay longer. Yes, I realize those games are against better teams. Just a thought.

Stop milking the concessions for money and sell booze. Problem solved.

Doesn't solve the problem at all. Most students are underage. Most students aren't going to want to pay $8 for lukewarm beer. Beer sales will stop during the 3rd quarter.

I'm all for selling beer but that's not keeping butts in the seat after halftime. Not when fans have a nice cold beer in an ice chest outside the stadium.

Day games are better anyways.

Honestly, with the new "no-pat down" rule for students this year, hangovers and no alcohol really aren't a problem anymore.

It would make the current people that leave early hesitant to buy. Which then means people who have been waiting to be able to buy & actually stick around will fill the gap. Prices will drop a little while the market adjusts, no doubt. But ESPN/SECN tv money will more than make up for it. Each team share is expected to be over $53M this year alone.

You'll have less people, especially in September. Nobody is going to Tiger Stadium for Chattanooga-LSU or Syracuse-LSU at 2:30 in September. Not happening.

And I like 2:30 kickoffs, especially in November. Just not in September.
