I think you need to pay attention bc you obviously aren't grasping what's been going on.

Unfortunately for you, the big conferences have gone to the NFL model.

Having fans in the stands is simply to look good on TV.

Maybe you could organize some other band wagon fans like you and carpool to the mall and get yalls fingernails done.

lower revenue

SEC has shared revenue. LSU will get their money no matter the number of people in the seats. TV money is the most important thing.

Lambeau will still be sold out whether you go or not and LSU will still get the same amount of money and everyone who is complaining now by the time the season comes around they will be football hungry again and there will be over 100,000 in the seats for the first home game.

not many will follow

How you going to stop ESPN from paying the SEC/LSU.
You think every game next year won't sell out?
Doens't matter if the stadium is at <75% for shite games, all the seats will still be sold.

It will, but as someone who wrongly blamed Alleva this whole time I think you're looking to get attention in the wrong place.

The stadium is still going to be a sellout, so you are wrong there.

And concessions revenue is a tiny tiny part of the overall revenue. And there will still be 80% butts in the seats minimum, so how many cokes and peanuts are they really missing out on?

You guys say this, but when UT's attendance hit rock bottom under Dooley, that did set back their athletic budget. The SEC TV money is great, but everyone is spending as fast as they get it to keep up in the ongoing facilities arms race. Any setback in revenue hurts if it's big enough.

What would hurt more is if the big boosters stop giving in the same amounts, or at all, after what Alexander pulled. That would have a much faster impact, and would get both him and Alleva shown the door in 2 years, tops. Maybe even one.

Who cares if another fair weather fan shows up to the games?? You should actually take it a step further and not watch the game at all.

I promise the AD's attention won't be raised if your dumb arse isn't at the games.

Thanks for starting this shitty thread, the rant hasn't seen one in a while.

* Athletic Department

I've likely gone to more games than 99% of you. Heart isn't in it to be traveling so much for lsu football. Other vacations and experiences that are also once in a lifetime.
