Not many national analyst can say they saw this coming. Not many at all. Many were talking that we would win 7 games at best.

Hey my good buddy Emory Hunt.
I remember him years back posting analysis videos on the Saints forum I frequented. He always did a spectacular job.

For real though, Emory really went on the record to predict us to win the west and win 11 games.
Local media, which by default is pro LSU, wasn’t even that bold.
So much he said in these clips came to fruition.

That second video is from August 22nd and he confidently said Perkins would be a star by midseason.

Emory Hunt was right on the money with every call except the 11-1 season, but who could have saw LSU losing on a missed extra point in game 1. The man knows his stuff. Would love to hear his prediction on the LSU/GA game.

I took the over on 6.5 wins because I knew for sure we would be 1 game better than last year but I also said 9 wins would be an amazing season and we will hit that with minimum 3 games left to play.
