247 says he's not enrolled yet...pretty much everyone else is. We REALLY could use him in the tackle rotation this year!!! Will he qualify?? Anyone know?

He and and Andre Anthony are expected to be there in August along with TV, I won't say his name on here, don't want to jinx it.

He is taking summer classes and retaking the ACT. If he scores high enough he will be cleared by August. Unless you want access to his transcripts there won't be a better update until summer class ends in August

Even if he qualifies, I don't think he makes any significant impact this year as a true freshman.

This, and it's not a slight to Alexander at all. Him, Lawrence and Logan won't get much playing time as freshmen because what we returned in Lacouture and Neal. Between those 2 being seniors and Godchaux, Herron and Gilmore, our dl already looks pretty good. The freshmen just look to add quality depth and step up in any injury cases. If we add Valentine like expected the DL is just beastly. 2016 class time to shine will be 2017 season.

Man, I seriously doubt he'll be in the tackle rotation this year. He seems like a great prospect, but we have Lacouture, Godchaux, Neal, Herron, and Gilmore to man three positions. Also, those three positions will reduce to two on passing downs. Then we have Lawrence who has a head start on him and appears to be an even better prospect.
If he gets in he two deep it will be due to injuries, or else because he's way better than anyone thought.

Depth and practice reps are huge for the progress of a D-line and getting the o-line better. Him and Valentine wish push our centers in practice alot more than a couple of walkons. If they play this year its just langiappe!

You would still prefer to get him enrolled and on the football team. He is as good as anyone we are looking at for 2017
