Starting Oline:

LT- KJ
LG- Brumfield
C- Clapp
RG- Ed Ingram or Sahdiq Charles
RT- Toby

Battle starting. Monroe backing him up.

Ed Paris or Grant Delpit to start at other S

Jontre backing up Donte, Greedy backing up KT

Nickel will be Kary with Xavier Lewis backing him up

Fulton not in the 2 deep

Jacob Phillips and Tyler Taylor behind Donnie Alexander

Jonhathan Ruxker behind Dev.

Culp KOS

Gonslin won K job

BYU Oline very physical. BYU has been calling other schools asking about LSU.

Derrius should be back. He thinks he's gonna play but not 100% sure

our OL situation is scary. No depth to rotate in as it is and we're a few injuries away from looking REALLY shaky.

But the BR sports talk guys said Cushingberry was a beast!

I'm actually okay with this. Letting Cush develop as the Center of the future likely outweighs the fact that he and Clapp (at RG) might be the best 5 option - if only because the C-QB exchange is so vital. The guys who will play QB in 2018 will only really know Cush at C, while, for the most part, Etling and Clapp are very comfortable with each other at this point.

Generally the OLine doesn't rotate.

Cush is a beast, but you don't want to start a true freshman on the OL. If you do, you want it to be at guard between 2 talented AND experienced linemen. Failing that, you want him at any position other than LT or C. Unless it's Rodney Reed or Ben Wilkerson ( ).

This offensive scheme will much easier physically on the OL. Less road grating and more misdirection.

We have 3 solid backups and that's all you need. Unless your LT gets hurt then most teams should be fine with 3 backups rotating in diff spots. Most teams don't have a solid 2nd team LT anyway.

How much does an OL rotate anyway? It's the position group that subs the least in football. You'll typically see the same OL the entire game.

It's nice to see Rucker in the two-deep. Guy is very talented as a walk-on.

I've heard of wisdom teeth but I think he could be nicked. Orgeron is going to be more protective of his players than Miles was so don't be surprised if it's something very minor.

Actually I'm thinking Cush is the 1st OL in at either center, left or right guard. Maybe he's more valuable as the 1st off the bench than starting?

I want to know how the wisdom teeth removal happened only two weeks before the opener

The QB/Center exchange isn't that difficult to master. It certainly doesn't take year of practice to do so

It sounds like while Cushenberry may be the Center of the future, he simply isn't as good an option at guard as one of the freshman in the eyes of the coaching staff.
