Only because of considerations of the other team we probably wouldnt hear much until bowl season. Maybe conference championship week.

No cause it would be a distraction to their program. It will be most likely talk in silence until the end of the season. Speculation will be high though on who will be the next big hire.

Exactly....of those most mentioned on this board their teams are doing well in conference and the national standings. And it would be wrong to their respective teams to take away anything from their season.

Depends on the team. If they're in the playoffs, leave them alone. If they're in any other bowl, they'll leave before the bowl game.

If it's a current head coach just watch recruiting.
If recruits start wavering on their commitments and opening up their recruiting and start including LSU where before LSU wasn't in the mix then it might be an indication a current head coach is steering some recruits to his new destination.

If Houston loses to Louisville the earliest would be before Houston bowl game but Herman may ask that we wait till after. If he makes the playoff all bets are off.

No! Anyone we want hopefully will playing for contention to the playoff so anything happening during the season is highly unlikely. If Housto loses to Louisville they will be virtually eliminated from the playoff. So the earliest anything would be announced is after the regular season before the bowl season starts. If USC and Lsu are looking at the same coaches a bidding war could prolong the situation.
