If you ever played competitive organized football at any level, you'd realize that from an athletes point of view, there's no difference if you lose 5 games or 11.

If you don't finish in first place, you might as well finish in last.

If you sink to the level of losing 5, then it doesn't matter how many more you lose because the season is already over without any chance at a Championship!..................
