So Musselman on the Douche.. err. Doug Gottlieb show today, and had nothing but praise for LSU, Johnny Jones, and the amazing family atmosphere that CJJ has cultivated here. Said that his time under Jones was invaluable and that he would not have been prepared for next challenge without this past year's experience.

Also compared Simmon's game to that of Lamar Odom. The good, non-kardasianated, drug-addled Lamar, the Lamar at the peak of his game.

I do. He was never as good as Ben could be. There is no comparison for Ben, so people need to quit trying.

If I told you ben goes 17/8/4 as a freshman, I bet you'd take it.

Seriously Bro, that's the best and most logical comparison. Lamar Odom was the best 18 year old in the world in his day.

Wouldn't even say freshman. Now u see him now u don't. 1 season is all we get. Without any decent bigs will be a sweet 16 type team. Damn shame Mickey is leaving

odom averaged 18/10 in his only year in college and averaged 17/8/5 over his first 9-10 years in the NBA

He was also a top 10 or so prospect coming out of HS

Im saying Lamar Odom, as a freshman averaged 17/9/4

If Simmons has the kind of career Odom has I think he'd walk away from basketball happy.

He was the best player in his class. Not Mcgrady or Battier, it was Odom. Some thought he was better as a junior than Kobe. Or maybe it was New York hype

That's an opinion, not a fact
