Theyre using it as motivation. Set out to prove something on offense.

If they have to use that for motivation they are in trouble.

Well, he did a very stupid thing and now unfortunately his whole team are going to have a harder task than if he had just kept his big mouth shut.

Their players aren't saying shite. Every single one of them when asked yesterday said they let their talk happen on the field. It was incredibly stupid for our back up DB to say the shite and even more ridiculous that the reporters are baiting these kids with stupid questions. They asked Donte yesterday what can he do to get the 5 year Bama monkey off their backs. Donte has been here for 2 years. He doesn't give a frick what happened 5 years ago.

Bunch of pansies.

I like the fire and confidence for once. It's kind of refreshing instead of the bland, calculated rehearsed speech of the Miles Era.

He said the defense can dominate the game. The defense! Big deal. He's confident and we had t exactly given up much on D this year. I like the confidence

Dwayne is the one who has to meet Bo Scarbrough in the hole. Good luck with that boss.

They talk shite as well. Don't fool yourself ... "Restore order" prior to BCS title game didn't seem to motivate us to victory ... They will all be talking shite at the game ... Means nothing

Yeah remember that time, the Gumps believed the fake locker room speech that Nick Saban made after the Bluegrass Miracle and before the Alabama game in 2002?

Gumps pretty much get mad at anything.

yeah and they beat the shite outta us that game.

DT better hope his comments actually help us by messing them up psychologically causing missed assignments and getting too emotional causing mistakes.

Honestly, Saban preaching the "process" has legitimate results

Apparently you haven't been watching LSU play. Bama has not seen anything this year like they will see sat night, especially the fresh qb. I guess you know more than Vegas? You should go take out a second mortgage on your trailer and bet the gumps, since you are so sure.

This is dumb. Fournette only dominates when his OL is dominant. It wont be Saturday. I love LSU as much as the next guy but to think Fournette is gonna dominate Bama is dumb.

I'm in bham this week on business, saw a local sports show asking the players about the comments. It was completely a non factor they said this part of game, ultimately it means nothing they have a job to do.

You don't know that he won't have a big game. This isn't a miles offense anymore, teams no longer know what play is coming and LSU is using the entire field. So tired of this segment of our fan base being complete pussies. LSU has a great chance to win this game.

While true, other teams spread the field also and didn't have big running lanes

If the Oline can get some push Fournette will have a good night, but Fournette on his own will not be able to do it, just like last season. If he is hit behind the line 90 percent of the time then it will be a long night.

Like Booger said this morning, we will tell in the first quarter how the game will go, if the LSU oline can block the Bama D then LSU will be fine, if not it will be a long night
