Man, that db caught him easily. Is he known for just average speed. I know he's hard to bring down, but the lack of top end caught me off guard.

That db runs a 4.35. Dural probably doesn't.

Dural took a bad angle right into the defender. I guess he didn't see him. If he would have cut it to the left side of the field he would have scored easily

If you noticed Dural drifted right into the dbs lane/angle. I also think he let off the gas thinking he was home free.

DB had speed though

Guy that caught him runs a 4.3. I don't this TD saw him...looked like he was on cruise control thinking he was in the clear.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. I thought he pulled a hamstring or cramped up on the run. He was a speedster in high school and even last year.

ETA: I remember now the angle was why he got caught.

Durat admitted that he was watching the Jumbletron while running and mistakenly feigned toward the side the DB was running to catch him. Otherwise, he scores. He runs a 4.4 himself.

Exactly. I did see his eyes looking up at screen, didn't make sense that he drifted right.
The 4.3 and his 4.4 is no difference in that long of a top end run. Especially having nearly 10 yr head start.

Had to be nicked or flat out letting up.

Something about our WRs this year keeps showing this type of lack of focus and effort.
It time for them to get it together, imo.

He had a hitch in his giddy'ap. His stride appeared not to be fluid. That's always a td for him. I think he was hobbled. The lack of fluidity in his stride looked like an ankle.

As wet as the field was, who knows, he might have stepped in a soft spot at some point. Or he might have been carefully striding; remember there were one or two WKU catches where the WR caught the ball and ran, and just went down (I can remember one for certain on the left sideline).

You'd rather be tackled than just slip down, on that play, so maybe he made sure he wasn't going to slip.

Dural has jets. He will have a chance to break 4.4 in the combine. That dude was full speed before Dural. If you noticed he turned and was full out as Dural was slicing through a couple of guys. Then, Dural was running towards him to run away from the guys in the middle. I don't think Dural knew there was a guy there.
