See LINK and scroll down a bit to the 2014 top 10 and bottom 10 drop rates for college football wide receivers.

I could not find 2015 drop rates but being that Dural and Dupre combined for 6 drops in one game last year (against Eastern Michigan) and displayed poor hands all year long, I would guess they might both be on the list for the worst drop rates for 2015.

Dupre, with his 5 drops and only 3 catches this year in 16 targets has got to be the worst in all of college football so far and unfortunately he should be about a 5th or 6th option at receiver at this point. Let's hope that Dural has made more improvement that Dupre.

What happened to the other 8 passes? Maybe Dupre just can't tell if the ball is coming at him or not since half his targets have been all over the place

If Dural's hands have improved, he can be the total package. Time will tell.

I think dural is pretty legit. Brandon has a tendency to key on on Dupre.

Harris seems attached to Dupre as Jennings was attached to Dural. Each quarterback develops their favorite. Each quarterback gets comfortable throwing to one over the other.

Every opponent knows to match Dural over Dupre now. It would be an advantage to improve Dupre, but a risk.

Yup.

And screw the OP for raggin' on our rec's just when DE is sparking the O. We all need to wait and see what happens. This could be an exciting time.

Chris Stoerner, QB, ESPN/SECN, showed a half dozen plays in the Wis JVS games where Dural & Dupre were 5 yds apart, tripping over each other with 3-4 Defenders smothering them, and double-teamed most of the rest of the plays because of Cam's 2 WR Beckham/Landry utilization history. His 3 WR utilization (28%) was the lowest in the NFL and described as Dark Ages, sending WRs on long slow developing vertical routes.

Cam was fired by the Ravens for running Miles' same "Stone Age" offense - conservative, archaic, predictable, sitting on 7-10 point leads, relying on the defense to win, and refusing to open up the offense with tempo/HUNH and spread passing tactics mixed with Run-Pass-Option plays which puts any defense on it’s heels, prevents subs, opens up the whole field, especially the middle, and defines the the most successful FBS and NFL teams. "The Ravens passing game wasn’t sophisticated. There weren’t a lot of rubs, crossing patterns, motion or a variety of sets. The Ravens seldom attacked the middle of the field and Cameron didn’t have a feel for games. He ran when he should have passed and passed when he should have run." Cam, always on the hot seat, was fired after 2 losses with only 3 games to go in 2012.

We could have used a big, physical, experienced receiver like Diarse, now that we might be capable of getting him the ball. Sorry, guys. Didn't mean to go off topic.Just reminising. Dupre may be overrated, but i don't see how you can feel that way about Dural.

Let's wait until the seasons over and they have had an opportunity to showcase themselves. Also, Etling provides an easier ball to catch.

Poor attempt to be funny. He still has 5 drops, he has to do better. We know we have QB issues, so catch the damn ball.

Obviously I'm biased, but Dural>Dupre

He's better with the ball in his hands and is not a prima dona on or OFF the field. He's our best Vert receiver and has an underrated stiff arm. Our staff and or QB do not utilize him correctly .. He will be an NFL receiver and will get significant snaps his first year in the league zero question

He's also every last bit of 6'2 210 ish sub 4.4 . he could have ran track for LSU and get national recognition

just cause dupre hasn't lived up to 5 stars don't put Travin in the convo. Not his fault our QBs can't factor him in

I compare them to Clayton and Henderson. One is taller, has more name recognition, the other is quiet and a better deep threat. I wonder if their NFL careers take a similar track.

I think Dupre is more naturally gifted as an NFL reciever but hasn't put it all together yet. Hopefully they get to attack defenses more if our QB situation pans out the way I think it can. Both are round 3 talents at the least

I'm expecting a solid game for both tonight.

I see dupre catching at least 5 and dupre having at least one big play. Il bump tomorrow to take pride in my accurate prediction!

I hope you are correct that Dupre will "rip shite up in the NFL next season" but I just don't see it. I see an incredible athlete with elite speed and jumping ability but who is severely deficient in hands, ball skills, and toughness.

I hope that I'm wrong.
