was listed at 218. I think this helps him a lot if he hasnt lost a step.

ETA: 10lbs heavier than Deion Jones did at last years combine

He never looked anything like that big to me, even at the bowl game (I was there). Lil Wayne must have some special sauce

No. Kwon Alexander and Deion Jones being stud NFL linebackers in their first year is the best thing that happened to Duke Riley. He doesn't necessarily have the physical attributes which would make him a top prospect. However, teams are going to think he could be the next LSU LB in line behind Alexander and Jones. Without their immediate success paving the way, I don't think he gets picked . Now, a lot of teams are going to consider taking him fairly early thinking he might be the next Alexander/Jones to come out of LSU.

Did you watch Duke play last year? I will agree Kwon and Debo can only help him with their stellar young NFL careers thus far; but Duke was an effective SEC ILB last year on his own merit. Arranda deserves some credit for his success as well, but Duke was ready to play the position last year without any of these 3.
He is a special player and teammate.

A 3rd round pick I'm predicting. Pretty good since he came from being undrafted.

That's a pretty dumb thought process if you're a scout.

His play helped him along with the coaching of Aranda.
