Father, Your son Duane is coming home. I pray that Your Spirit comfort him and that his salvation is secured in Christ Jesus.

Father, please ease their pain of loss of their father and husband and hedge them from the grief.

I saw the headline and read his name and stopped in my tracks. He's my age an was at LSU my time. As I read on it all just hit home. Prayers from the Jewish side of the Rant for him and his family.

Puts all our whining about games in perspective.

GBY Disco D--can't begin to tell you how much joy you & the Tiger BB team brought to so many of us LSU students back in the day.

May God Almighty watch over you & give you his peace, both now & forever.

Prayers are with him and his family. I lost my Mom last year to cervical cancer. In March, they told her that if she had anymore chemo treatments, that it would kill her, so they advised her to contact hospice and to try and keep her as comfortable as possible. It was the hardest thing to do in my life. God Bless

I received the dreaded phone call from Duane's wife Tory earlier today. Big D passed away last night. The tiger nation has lost a warrior, and I have lost my best friend, but heaven has gained an enormous angel.

There will be a service held in Houston on Wednesday and a funeral mass held on Friday in Baton Rouge hopefully at OLOM church. The dates and times have not been confirmed.

Duane leaves behind a wife and two sons. Please keep them in your prayers. Rest in peace, big D, rest in peace.

So sad to hear of his passing, Randy.

I pray that God will dispatch angels of comfort, strength, hope and peace to his family and friends to be with them in their time of grief.

RIP Disco D

Ranty, unfortunately, I know what his family is going thru. I lost my Mom last year to cancer in May. May God Bless him and all of his family and friends. I am sure he will be missed.

To Disco D....GEAUX TIGERS and RIP!

Although I did not follow his basketball career I am deeply saddened by this as it sounds that he was a stand up father, husband, and friend. God Bless him and his family...My prayers go out to them.
