Hat's off to Les for getting as far as he did with these 2 QB's. With all the run talent LSU has, we gotz to have a QB who's a legit pass threat. I mean "REALLY" legit.

the fact is that throughout LSU's history, "dual threats" haven't exactly panned-out. Just look at the best QB's since 2000: Davey, Mauck, Russell, and Flynn (the best runner out of this group is Flynn btw)

Am I missing somebody? Is Herb Tyler the closest thing we have had to a dual threat QB in the last dozen years. Conversely, dual threat QBs seem to be everywhere - Baylor, Oregon, Michigan for the crying out loud. In a league that prides itself on speed, why on earth can't LSU attract one of these Michael Vick QBs. Neither Saban or Miles wanted/wants that type of QB?

Im not going to criticize him because I haven't seen him play against college talent yet, but none of those passes were accurate in this highlight film of randall.
Where at in this highlight film did he throw the ball to a reciever who wasn't wide open?
Do people understand that this is the same issue we just had with JJ? YOUR WIDE RECIEVERS AREN'T GOING TO BE 15 YARDS WIDE OPEN IN COLLEGE.
All the long routes had to turn around and catch it too. Not accurate on deep passes.
