1st and goal Jennings drops back for the pass and instead of throwing it away he gets sacks... 2nd and goal my personal favorite the qb draw with the slowest guy on our offense anothony Jennings for 3 yards 3rd and goal no timeouts so I figure we have to go to the end zone but no we throw an out two yards short to the sidelines 4th and goal instead of just giving the ball to LF and telling ND to stop him we give in to the 3rd string qb to make a play.....

Anthony Jennings just does not have good decision making in the heat of the moment and that first down play is an excellent example. Throw the ball away and save a time out! Getting sacked and losing a little yardage was not that big of a deal but having to use the timeout was critical!

A player, especially the QV, has to know the situation on each and every down and be able to make good quick decisions.

Jennings was scared to throw an interception. Must have been worried about Harris coming in if he made a mistake

That third string QB did make a play. The refs screwed up and this was admitted after the game. I would love to see how you can bash a fake FG that resulted in the player forcing the ball across the goal line.

Was that Jennings half brother playing for Arizona last nite?... He seemed to make the same bone head mistakes at the end of that game also.....

I was at the game which allowed me to see things you can't always see on tv. It is obvious someone has scared Jennings with the "don't make a mistake" idea. I know there isn't really a threat of him being pulled, but you can tell he is on egg shells about screwing up. When he hits the last step of his drop and looks for his primary read, that guy better be wide open, and I mean WIDE OPEN! If he thinks he is even slightly covered he is not throwing it. And you can forget about any other reads. There were several times when guys were what would be considered open and he wouldn't turn it loose. If there is a defender anywhere in the neighborhood he is pulling it down. He left a lot of plays out there. The only reason Desean Smith caught four balls is because he was wide open every time. He has no field presence or confidence and coaching has to have a lot to do with that.

I love the fact that Miles gave our "3rd string QB" the ball. Probably will be his only chance to make a TD in a LSU jersey. Nice reward for a deserving player. Will give him something to talk about the rest of his life.

Completely shitty play calling.

Pathetic play calling, and worse yet Jennings trying to execute a positive play. I swear, never have I seen worse QBing in all my years of LSU football. If you are lucky enough to watch the game live you can see how many wasted plays by #10. Jennings' will throw balls away when he has open field to run for first downs. I feel certain he goes blind when he begins to move in the pocket.
