I haven't heard much about how he is progressing. Watched his film last year, seemed like a monster. Any shot he moves up the depth chart this year?

He will certainly get his chance. Considering how we have lost 4 or 5 wrs to early graduation and transfers the last two seasons, I'm hopeful he will max out his potential.

So, does anybody know?
Is he afraid of contact?

Someone on here said that was the problem with Drake. If true, can that be overcome?

I was going to say this was dumb if you watch the kids HS film. But you have those rock solid sources of "someone in here".

I have never heard the contact thing and that is certainly not the biggest deal breaker for a WR like him. He's huge, fast, and athletic. Lots of WR's don't like contact.

Its always been his hands that were questioned.

Its Got to be something, kid is a freak, and really thought we'd see more of him his Freshman year, even though it's not that unexpected in the SEC...He's just that level an athlete...Hope he gets that fire to take his mental game up to his ability..

He was on the kickoff team so he's probably not afraid of contact.

vets in front of him and not exactly an offense that fed a lot of mouths, I don't know what you were expecting.

If you watch him on special teams this year he was hitting like a safety... Check the bowl game out.You didn't see him every play ,but when you did was coming downhill.

Johnson should've stayed. He'd be starting opposite Chark this year

It has always been his hands in question. Drake stopped playing football in high school so he could play soccer. He picked it back up his senior year. The sky is the limit potential wise, but he is just raw.

Really good player with great talent and speed. I heard that his biggest problem was off the field issues. Not positive but it seems the most logical considering he's an animal
