Last season 5/1

Second baseman Cade Doughty has “no structural damage at all” in his injured left shoulder, coach Paul Mainieri said Monday, after the sophomore suffered a subluxation during LSU’s doubleheader over the weekend.

Does anyone know how many games he missed for this?

I was actually hopeful when i saw it was dislocated. If he didnt tear anything, he could be good to go for regionals.

Preface this by saying I am an athletic trainer. When a joint dislocates, some stabilizer soft tissue is sheared in some fashion. As long as the labrum and rotator cuff tendons are in tact, he can play as tolerated with a neoprene brace. Just pain tolerance based. MRI tomorrow will tell the tale.

Cade Doughty’s shoulder had to be popped back in place. Will be a day by day evaluation. Riley Cooper got sick in the dugout, seems fine. #LSU

Thanks for the insight! So we have some hope since it was a dislocation right?
