idk man, this makes me nervous. though White was dynamic when he safely fielded punts last year, his decision making was sketchy at times. I feel the same about Jackson. oh well, I trust the coaches I guess. I prefer PR's like chad jones/Dominic Davis/Skylar Green........guys who can outrun most but can also break tackles. Hope he tears it up though!

I agree. I would rather Davis or CEH

I think there should be multiple punt returners and not just one main

It should make everyone nervous. He lost the KR multiple times because he just kept running really fast into the first defender. PR is even more difficult.

If he coughs one up then he wont be doing it for long. It would be nice to see him use his speed in open space. I used to love watching Holiday pull away from other fast guys.

Key here is "to open the season", I'm not sure it ends up this way. Lot of young explosive guys just need a little time.

Pr and KR are two different things and two different skill sets. Punt return is more about speed and agility. That's why you usually see a db or wide receiver there. The most important role is to catch the ball then its make that first guy miss. Usually you do that and it's all about getting to where the wall is pre determined before snap as fast as you can and just out run everybody. KR is about being able to read holes and find the gap. Why runningback is a good fit in this area.

I was hoping this would happen. Being a punt returner is something that gets easier and slows down the more you do it. Why not put the fastest man in college football back there. I'm envisioning Trindon Holiday 2.0

When you become HC, you will get to make all the decisions.

I'm so pumped about this! Most have wanted to see Jackson with the ball in his hand since he showed up at LSU. I think he is gonna have a huge year in the return game.

Since I saw a video of him as a freshman running a route across the field. Lightning fast.

He doesnt make me nervous at all. Excited 100%. He just just flashes all over the field. He's going to take some to the house this year and Tiger Stadium will be rocking when he does.
