Anyone that wants to settle for less than winning every game shouldn't be a fan or a player. You don't train and practice at this level to accept anything less than the mentality of winning. The reason they are dominating us is because they don't accept it.

It's the first page in Saban's playbook every year that he hands out. The quote from Lombardi on being the best and not settling for second place.

Have you won everything you have ever done??? Either you are Superman or Barack Obama.

One day when you get our of your Grandma's basement, you will realize nobody is perfect.

I'm not really that competitive so it doesn't bother me that much. But I think I held my own in the amount of beer I drank yesterday.

If perfect intentions created perfect results then every team would be National Champions.

I am a biblical man and no one is perfect. There is a big difference between perfection and accepting.

Screw that. I get what you are saying, but the way you say it, it sounds like a huge sidewalk fan.

I'm an LSU fan and a Saints fan. Both could go have awful seasons, and I will remain fans of them. I wasn't a Cowboys fan, a Patriots fan, or a fan of the U or Bama.

the reason they are dominating everyone, INCLUDING US, is the fact that Saban is an alltime great coach who has the best players coming in every year. Every game they've lost over the past 5-7 years was considered a major upset.

If that was the case great players wouldn't have off games. The mental part is huge. They're ability doesn't change from game to game. Saban is great because he doesn't allow losing to be ACCEPTED. Just in case everyone hasn't noticed everyone gets a trophy now. It is infectious from a young age.

Remember the Curley years?!?! We should KISS MR. COACH MILES' FEET for bringing us to a bowl game every year. I'm TOTALLY content with that. Plus, the pressure of having to win every game is just too much. Beat the cupcakes, lose to Bama who...let's face it...are VERY scary, lose to 2-4 less talented, better coached teams and BOOM! We go bowling! What more can we reasonable, terrified and PTSD from the Curley years, sunshine pumpers ask for.

ENJOY THE RIDE...even though you're riding in a 2002 Mazda 626

Armchair motivation speakers. There are perfectionist in this world. A man of God once time told me that the only perfection is in heaven. For those who feel they can make it on earth that is fine. But, it will take years off your life and you may not end up in the right place after you exhale your last breath. Read the Good Book and you may catch on to what I am trying to say here:).

I'm sure that the entire LSU roster has the mindset to just accept a loss like this. Some of you people are just really stupid.

I have watched Alabama excel at college football for the past forty years. It is the culture over there and is backed up by generations of success and expectations. For the first twenty five years of my LSU fandom, I didn't expect much out of LSU football because we were traditionally a good, not great program. I certainly expect more out of the team now that I did twenty years ago but LSU's football program will never be Bama's football program We will have our moments and I would now consider us to be nationally elite. But college football is a different animal in Tuscaloosa.

Let me guess. That going into puberty thing has you all full of testosterone rage? Amirite?
You have absolutely NO idea of what the mental attitude of the LSU team was last night. And since you are not now nor ever will be an elite you will never understand. Now put your night light on, climb into your Dr. Dentons and have a good night.

As long as the SEC office is in Birmingham it will be tough to overcome Bama. LSU CAN beat Bama but it is tough. A lot going against us. Recruiting is a big part of what we have to excel at regardless of the a holes in the SEC office and NCAA.

And they have the same number of losses as we do.

Hey, I'm as sick about last night as anyone, but the constant deifying of all things Bama, as if they can do no wrong gets downright nauseating.
