Don’t blame Braswell for the loss. Blame the underperforming players who are..

Blame the fact that they’re several players on this team that Jay assumed would be dudes and just haven’t performed

Neal was ranked high coming out of hs
Kling
Guidry was Mr. Baseball
Missing Noot, and Shores
And others

One play over the several plays he has made through the game

Also got the average up to .290

So the blame for the loss falls on players that weren't on the field, rather than all the players that didn't get enough hits, or the player that committed the error that put the winning run on base?

bold take...

Fielding errors happen. My issue was him running into the double play that cost us a valuable run. That’s a mental error which can’t happen.

disagree. Build the team by recruiting out of high school. We keep hitting portal we will lose quality hs recruits cause they will go elsewhere. Play your freshmen. Upper classmen suck

You people forget had it not been for Bear’s gift of height, Braswell would have lost it the previous inning when he threw the ball 3 feet over his head!

Exactly. we lost 1 run directly because of that.
Also, if he doesn't run into that double play, we are still batting and maybe we can get a couple 2 out runs.
It cost us a minimum of one run, could have been more.

The last two recruiting classes aren't panning out.

Not all of the last 2 recruiting classes. Just some of those guys not doing what they need. Shores was a huge piece that is hurt. We haven’t recruited good bats the last 2 years. Jones is good but not much after that. We need a Jobert, a Dugas, a Beloso. We’d be fine if we had those guys and no Crews. It’s the fact we have quite a few holes in our line up that are just not getting it done in clutch time.

I'd have to see it again, but I didn't think he was making that play even if he fielded it.

Huge mental mistake, but it didn't cost us a run...it cost us a chance to drive in a run.

Could have played 18 innings. Lsu wasn't gonna score again.
