I played football against his son in high school. I believe he was the coach at the time(his son went to St. Eds in Eunice).

highlight of his coaching career was demolishing a 55 gallon drum with a maul at a homecoming pep rally

He was a small, tough and deceptively fast running back.

Don't know bout Sr's LSU career, but Jr came to assumption with ton's of hype and never lived up to it. Big jump from St. Eds to a crappy 4 sometimes 5 A school that plays some powerhouse schools

I don't know how good he was at LSU, but he was not a very good coach when he was at St. Ed's.

His son did kick arse on the JV team.

In 1985, Bozeman Sr. coached at Rayne High School and took the team to a 6-4 regular season and up to the Quarter Finals. Beat Leesville in the Regional Playoff game 20-12 with an Offensive Guard running for 121 yards on two Guard around plays. The Defense held Leesvilles 2 - 1000 yard backs, Charles Buckley and Jeff Steele to a combined 231 yards on 44 carries. In the Quarter Finals game they lost to Wossman 27-6. Not to bad for a team that had 22 dressed out to play ball. He went to St. Ed's afterwards, Not sure what he did at St. Ed's.
