Because
1. We were coming off bama week
2. Lost in final seconds after playing our hearts out
3. Arky had a bye week during all this
4. O line hurt/shuffled
5. We are arkys super bowl
6. First play of game was disastrous
7. And a whole bunch of other shite

Now what's ole piss' excuse? This is where I find my peace my solace. That is all…

Only two things would make me feel better in the upcoming weeks of this CFB season:
1. Bama to lose, preferably next week to Auburn thereby missing the playoff.
2. Fla. State to lose, preferably next week to Fla.
thereby missing the playoff.

I wouldn't say it makes me feel better, but it does show that arkansas is not the shite show that the chicken littles claimed they are.

Why should i feel better?

Our loss to arkansas wasnt as bad as the 4th place team in the west was?
Congrats.
Arkansas did to ole miss what we could have done to ole miss. Arkansas is a better team than lsu.
As is alabama , auburn, and miss st. That is unacceptable. To be the 5th best team in our division.

No. Both schools and football programs are inferior to LSU so why the hell would I give a fiddlers frick about the outcome of their game? The fact is, for the universe to be aligned correctly, the LSU's of the world don't lose the the piggies of the world.

I feel a quality confidence inside me that Les Miles feels better about the Arky loss as his team is excited about working hard to get ready to play Texas A&M.

Absolutely not. But it did validate what I've said all year, Arkansas is a really good football team. Missed extra point against Bama cost them the game. Barely beaten by MSST as well.

They have just had some bad breaks this year but have been a really good team. I do think if LSU had beaten Bama we would have trucked Arkansas. We definitely went into that game flat with the life sucked out of us. The way we lost to Bama will do that do a team.

Its the SEC. Expectiations; Salaries; Talent Levels; Monies; Etc are very very high. SO are the chances of fans calling for the coach to show us something or retire. Also, not enough is being said about the AD.

We need an AD that is competitive and is an LSU fan. For that kind of paycheck, just hoppin and skippin along will keep you battling for third place in our division.

It also means that your fans lose interest in the Belk Bowl, or wherever we are going.

The fans on this board wholesale forgave the coaching staff for the Peach Bowl against Clemson while I was vowing that I would better spend that Hotel/Tickets money on fishing gear.

So no, moral victories don't prop up an underacheiving staff. If it does for you, then you'll be happy with the years to come.

If we beat ATM next week, the I told ya so crowd will be out in full force.....but 90% of the season will have been over. The results can't be changed by other teams' victories or our late ones.

Ole Miss beat Bama. Also LSU beat OM with a healthy Treadwell. LSU put OM into the infirmary after that game. They were not that bad at the time we played them.

It makes me feel WORSE...

Our signature win, Ole Miss, was not as impressive as everyone thought....

Well, scratch that one... I said so as much at the time, so that one's a blah.

What really chaps my arse is that Bret Bielema shows the world how a run oriented offense doesn't mean you have to advertize every attack with the same three or four plays over and over. Les should take some lessons.

More plays would put a great burden on our underdeveloped and painful to watch QB.

Casting my "nope" vote and wondering how Arkansas being underrated and Ole Miss being overrated makes our QB situation any less shittastic.

Well, isn't it amazing how Austin Allen can go in there and do just fine?

AA is probably the best QB for the job who is coached up and runs an offense that best uses his capabilities. That's not the LSU way.

As well as a fumbled TD...

And of course, the "honest" SEC refs helping out Bama big time. Though that's a weekly theme.

LSU's boneheaded penalty cost them the game as much as anything. Had it not been for Bama's shitty fg kicker a few years back, Mile's would be almost zero for forever against the much smarter Nick Saban.

Auck Farky. And Ole Piss for that matter.

I wouldn't trade programs with those two in a million years.

Then again, I love the Tigers and refuse to wallow in the misery that so many on here seem to love.
