I noticed within 10 feet he uses his right hand more than left. Not bashing him, but I've not really seen a jump shot yet.

It doesn't appear that way.

With the guards we have, he needs to be posting up more. Looks like we're doing more tonight

I think his lack of confidence in his shot has resulted in the push shots with the right hand. He's just trying different things and getting the same result.

None whatsoever....He's basically a big man version of Rondo

It is clearly the weakest part of his game at this point in the season. I don't think we need him taking too many anyway, but it would be something to improve.

Do you still think he won't go #1 in the draft?

Well....I never said that he will not go number 1.

and I still think it's dependent upon the team that has the pick.

Even though he is the best player in the college...other players are much closer to him than expected.

Especially if they don't make the tourny and guys like Jaylen Brown or Jamal Murray have huge performances.

You forgot the rest.

"considering the two teams that will be in contention for the number 1 pick, neither need a PF."

So then you did say that he wouldn't be the #1 pick? Because I have a direct quote that literally says it.

Do I need to break down how sentences work? Do you see that period?

quote:

Benny won't be number 1 pick.

Ha ha. Yeah there are only a few nba teams that don't need a 6'10 player that can do everything. He can work on his shooting.

He's not a conventional pf. There not many 6'10 pfs that can bring the ball up, take players off the dribble, and facilitate the offense.

Saying he just needs to work on his shooting is like saying a QB just needs to work on his throwing.
It will be an issue in the NBA if he poses no shooting threat.

True but from a scoring perspective he's a low block pf

No its not. Qbs need to be able to throw the ball to be effective. Simmons can be a great player without shooting well. Also a qbs accuracy is harder to improve than a basketball player's shot.

No he isn't. He rarely plays with his back to the basket.
Putting Simons on the low block is a huge waste of his talents.

Dude you're not taking the ball out of the hands of a NBA level point guard and let a rookie PF without a jumper take over.
