that setup the AJ Green score? i see people on here bitching all the time at our linebackers, defensive linemen, quarterbacks, offensive line, etc. but i guess PP is free of any criticism b/c he's the best player on our team

Well it was obvious that he assumed he had safety help over the top, we can't know for sure if he was supposed to or not. Hard to criticize based on assumptions.

He gets a free pass because if anyone else was covering Green most of that game, we'd lost for sure.
He actually almost batted the ball down on his blown coverage, talking about a vertical...
Above poster is also correct, we don't know for sure if PP blew the coverage or the Safety. I'm going with PP because he looked confused as soon as the play started.

He's an aggressive player, he gambled and lost. I'm ok with it, because the series was too fast and left us a bunch of time to win the game.

Apparently, there was a miscommunication on that coverage. PP thought that he had safety help deep, but he didn't. You can see him scurrying about just before the snap.
I'm not sure if it was his fault, the safety's fault, or the fault of the individual who was relaying the play to Peterson.

Since it was zone coverage, I'll give him a pass because the safety was supposed to be there.
ETA: Peterson said it was zone btw.... so who really knows..
