Does our lack of diversity with HC's hurt our recruiting?

Nikki is now our only minority head coach, and the OC and DC's on the football team are also not diverse. I'm against diversity for the sake of diversity, but I could see this being an issue (especially since Coach Jones was run off and replaced).

Tommie Robinson was a great hire but he is just an assistant.

I'm surprised LSU did not give minority applicants a greater look during the search for a basketball coach.

we were fricking terrible. He would've been run off and replaced regardless of diversity or not. Les Miles got fired this year too...... didnt bring that up in your post.

I didn't say LSU was discriminating. I don't believe it is.

I've seen you hint at this a couple of times since Wade was hired and I really don't understand why.

Why did you have to put this, and make it sound like JJ was "run off" because he was black, and not fired because his team's were absolute garbage?

It's anchored so it probably won't get that high.

I'm not saying Wade's race was a factor in his hiring. However, hiring a strong black coach would have been advantageous to LSU, and I don't see Wade working out well (and I hope I'm wrong).

I do believe that, overall, LSU fans are not as supportive for a black coach as they are for a white coach.
