Honestly I would like to see him as the nickel guy again. Him, white and Tolliver is such a nasty trio at corner.

Mills will be needed against the better passing teams, especially Ole Miss. Most versatile DB LSU has.

We're playing a lot of nickel so he sees the field a ton down the stretch. I think depending on who we play will factor in who starts. Having Mills is huge for us vs a&m and ole miss

I think this it what happens. Slide DT to dime. Our depth in the secondary isnt fair.

In the nickel or dime set? Jefferson is doing a great job so far and I personally like the physicality for run support.

We definitely need to figure out how to use him against Ole Miss and Texas A&M when the time comes. I believe Bama is going to get back to running the ball primarily.

This is an interesting question that's been on the back of my mind. Jefferson has been really outstanding in coverage, run support, and just overall. Seems like if we can have both Mills and Jefferson on the field as much as possible (one moving to nickel), that could only benefit us.

A team should keep doing what is working the best & is the most effective. Right now, that means Jefferson should get most of the snaps. I knew he was pretty talented, but his play has been even much better than most would have expected.

I know it is always great to have depth & Mills will have hs chances to contribute. I have been surprised that we haven't seen more of Ed Paris and Corey Thompson, but again, injuries and other factors could happen anytime and I would imagine they are ready for their opportunities.

I don't think Ricky's play has been unexpected. I think he's been way under appreciated for a guy who started a couple of games as a true freshman.

If you think Mills doesn't see the field as soon as he is healthy you are crazy. I'm not saying Jefferson goes to the bench but Mills will play.

Thomas has been pretty good, too. I think we see a rotation of the three safeties. It will be hard to sit Jefferson right off the bat as he has been all over the field. It's tough on a team like LSU to be injured and lose your place but it happens. I give the edge to Adams and the other two are ...
