Does LSU have the worst home environment in basketball in the country?

Definitely in the top 25. But I’m not compare to us to places like Wyoming where fans don’t show up. I mean in terms of the fans that do show up. Like per capita we have to have the worse crowd in the nation. Sometime I just like to stare at the fans along the sidelines 
they don’t move. They never stand up. It’s the most pathetic collection of fans I’ve ever seen. Too good to make noise.
Do LSU fan show just not understand how to make noise in bball? Same as football.. yell during defense. Not care? Not sure. And you can’t even blame it on not being good for a long time. Watch the auburn game tonight vs Kentucky. It will put our crowd TO SHAME. And they have been good much shorter than us. It honestly puts you to sleep as a fan watching on tv. Something has to change. Surely our fans don’t have to be wasted to yell during a game

That’s the fans that bought those tickets even when we sucked....they are older, have a lot of money and probably really don’t give a shite if you think they deserve to be there or not

It’s true, though. It’s a very very reactive crowd, no proactive excitement or noise or atmosphere.

Might as well be at a golf tournament. Ball goes in, everyone calmly claps, clapping stops and everyone watches. It’s as if the event staff are holding up signs that say “Silence Please” everytime we’re on defense

It’s literally the same concept as football. Hell just pretend the shot clock Is the play clock.. and the other team putting up a bad shot at the end or turning it over is the same as a delay game or mix up

I’ve said it a million times, build something new. A smaller gym with seats much closer to the court. Put the fans as close as possible. Cut out the double isle walk ways to seats, huge open air space, and move the damn media to a press box in the nose bleeds.
I love the PMAC but it is more of a professional arena than it is a basketball gym. Check out Houston’s new gym/renovation, we need something similar.

Plus, we need to commit to the things that Wade wanted when he came to LSU. He has brought basketball back, we need to give him some fresh facilities.
