Does LSU have anyone on the coaching staff who helps the kickers...

and punters from a technical perspective? I'm sure BDP doesn't have the skills/expertise to diagnose and suggest fixes for flaws in their technique. It's like golf. A professional golfer's swing is always changing and they have a teacher/coach that analyzes and help gets their swing back on track. Is there anyone on staff who works with our kickers?

No one is "on staff" but LSU does contract out to specialists.

The PK is 7/7 this season. We've seen both Domingue and Gamble kick it in the endzone in the past, so we know both can do it. Kheen has always been inconsistent, so there is nothing real surprising there.
The problems with the KO's are:
1. LSU is trying to directionally kick off and have the ball land in a corner between the 5 and goal line. If they would just let the guys kickoff as deep as they can down the center, like 95% of other teams, it wouldn't be that big of a problem.
2. Jackson has the speed, but not the vision yet to see the open lanes on the KO returns.
Easy fixes. Stop trying to get creative on the KOs, and if you don't like what Jackson is giving you on the returns right now, make a change.

They just get on TD for technical advice. Feel free to use this thread to give them your input.
