If the exact scenario that occurred in the Michigan State/Wisconsin game (with LSU in the place of Michigan State and Bama in the place of Wisconsin) plays out between LSU and Bama in 2 weeks, would the SEC replay officials make the same call and count the TD?

Of course! If the game is that close, and it happens to finish this way, I think that Alabama would still be ranked in the top 5 in the Harris and Coaches poll.

Knowing the SEC officials they would probably review it, then give Bama the touchdown somehow...

Then they'd go back and take away the Florida win in 07, because you're not allowed to go for it 5 times on 4th down with a white runningback in the SEC.

Those are the SEC officials I know.

As much as I joke, I could actually see this happening. Auburn comes to mind...

No chance we get any breaks ay Bama, or on the road at Auburn when we play there either.

Well, first of all, he crossed the line. This is why I make the argument, if you don't want the game to come down to a ref call, beat the team handidly and it can't affect you.

They would review it...award LSU a td...then thinking it's OT, would give Bama the ball and 4 downs to win.

To answer the real question: NO...not in this lifetime.

Absolutely and to have two officials mark the ball on the one yard line shows me just how bad officiating can be at times.
