This will be my last year as a season ticket holder. The quality of the home game schedule can no longer be justified. I will still watch all the games, go to the ones I really want to and no longer feel like I am wasting my money making only half the games. It's no longer worth it to me.

I've had season tickets longer than most and don't miss many home games or bowl games.
Even so, I'll admit I've had thoughts about spending my $3K on other things. I absolutely HATE day games and the SEC HQ doesn't give a rat's arse about our tradition, so we're getting stuck with more and more early starts.
I'm also tired of ALL quality OOC games being played at neutral sites. I understand the value but why do ALL of them have to be away from Tiger Stadium?
I'm not asking for the world but at least reward the season tickets holders for their continued support. We can accommodate the networks...the SEC HQ...the out of town fans...and the non-season ticket holders but we don't mind screwing over the fans who actually support the program.

Returned visitor tickets so what's the problem

Only if you buy them to sell them. Otherwise, be happy to share your experience with more LSU brethren.

I gave up 3rd generation season tickets 4 years ago. It's just cheaper for me to pick 1-2 big games a year and go to them.

After spending months trying to sell 2 of my season tickets that I'm holding solely for my two boys to have when they graduate, I can say that and the shitty home schedule tell me beyond a doubt that LSU is going in dry. I will not be renewing.

What's it matter?
You can't give them away anyways if you decide not to attend these shite games.

I can afford it. I know where I'll be sitting every game.

Does LSU devalue your season tickets by selling cheap individual game tixs?
I gave up season tickets after the 2011 season not because of ticket price only. My other issues were: few, if any, home games at night against quality opponents, increased costs to conveniently park and tailgate, increased length of games due to increased media timeouts, and disgust with the way the Tiger Athletic Foundation controlled tickets to the SECG and bowl games. I was spending more time and money to attend LSU games, but enjoying them less.
Since giving up the season tickets I have not had trouble getting tickets for any LSU home game for less than face value on the tickets. That means I contribute nothing to the TAF, and I like it that way. My donations to LSU now go to academics.

I hear, you, especially about cutting TAF out of the loop. But our tickets have been in the family since the sixties, and crazy as it sounds, they have sentimental value.

Man, you said that really well...

Dropped my season tickets before last season. Ended up spending 1/5 as much money for much better seats.
