i think the only thing stopping people from surrounding the AD's office with torches and pitchforks is the thought of at least getting a new OC for next season

Possibly Steele too, although I'm a fan of Steele when it comes to coaching. Move Steele to LB's coach and hit that homerun OC/DC hire.

No way in hell does that happen. Think for a second the massive shite show this would be. We had problems bringing in a competent defensive coordinator last year, after what's transpired in the past year, why would any proven defensive (or offensive) coordinator come here and possibly be out on the street by next December?

Highly doubt it. Both have underperformed. Cameron will likely go back to the NFL as a QB coach. BDP just needs to be let go immediately.

Does anyone else think the AD statement should have been something like, "Les is our coach and will continue to be our coach, however it is clear we will have to take steps to improve our situation. We will address that during the offseason." Instead of the moronic Les "The engine is sound." blabbering?

I doubt that, I suspect most grasp a new OC won't make a difference and it is a waste of financial resources to attract someone that will want at least a two year deal when we can keep Cam on a one year extension.
